Responsabilities: - Compiles financial information and assists in the preparation of reports. - Records, classifies, and summarizes financial transactions and events in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles. - Keeps abreast of laws and regulations that apply to a particular staff function or field of professional expertise to maintain up-to-date compliance. - Initiates and processes journal entries into various accounts. - Uses various software applications, such as relational databases, statistical packages, and graphics packages to assemble, manipulate and/or format data and/or reports. - Applies a working knowledge of applicable laws and regulations; verifies documents for completeness and compliance with government and private agencies. Education: Required: Two years college with courses in accounting, business, or equivalent experience Preferred: Bachelor's degree Experience: Two years related work experience required. . |
